Sickness Virus Outbreak

The outbreak of Norovirus |at the Royal Cornwall and West Cornwall hospitals is now subsiding. The virus, which causes sickness and diarrhoea, is easily spread and is often brought into hospitals when there are high levels of the virus circulating in the local community. A small number of wards remain affected by the virus.
